Lee's WorkCover agent terminated his payments because he did not attend occupational rehab. An Independent Medical Examiner had found Lee could not return to work or take part in rehabilitation. We raised Lee's case with WorkSafe. Lee's payments were reinstated and he was back-paid about $40,000.
Joanne had waited three months to receive her Birth Certificate. She needed the certificate to get a passport to go on an overseas trip. We raised her request with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. They provided the certificate to Joanne and she was able to go on her trip.
These students' placements were deferred by four months. The TAFE also organised for the placements to be held in regional Victoria, meaning extra costs for the students. After we discussed this case with the TAFE, they decided to pay each student $600.
